Job Description

The Senior Legal Counsel supports Safran in general corporate, contractual, and litigation matters focusing on the U.S. Safran Electronics & Defense. Working closely with management and cross-functional teams, the role involves negotiating commercial contracts and providing legal support on employment, litigation, disputes, transactions, real estate, and regulatory issues. The Senior Legal Counsel interacts with internal and external clients to address complex issues clearly and accurately.

• Serve as the U.S. Safran Electronics & Defense legal focal point.
• Identify and mitigate legal and business risks in contracts, securing necessary approvals.
• Draft, review, and negotiate corporate and transactional agreements.
• Lead negotiations with customers and suppliers, supporting leadership during high-level negotiations.
• Coordinate with tax, finance, engineering, compliance, insurance, litigation, and HR teams.
• Manage legal projects, including policies, templates, and regulatory matters.
• Support resolution of disputes and litigation.
• Ensure compliance with legal practices and applicable laws.
