Job summary

AWI Management Corporation is seeking a Senior Legal Coordinator to centralize handling of legal actions, regulatory complaints, and insurance matters tied to our property operations. The role focuses on tracking cases, coordinating with counsel and carriers, and maintaining organized records across our portfolio.

You will work with tenant/landlord counsel, regulatory agencies, and internal teams to ensure timely progression, reporting to the CEO, and providing guidance to peers.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate or equivalent work experience.
• At least 2 years in a paralegal or legal support role, preferably in real estate, property management, or housing law.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong working knowledge of legal terminology, property management practices, and housing laws.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for incoming legal actions and complaints.
• Track every claim and case from start to finish with deadlines and follow-ups.
• Coordinate with insurance carriers and adjusters on injury claims and renewals.
• Maintain the insurance coverage database and certificates of insurance.
