Job summary

Qualifications

• J.D. with at least 5 years of experience as a lawyer in a law firm or in-house.
• Experience in private equity, leveraged or project finance is an asset.
• Familiarity with U.S. securities laws and private funds is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist with investment structuring and transaction execution for private fund investments through BID and BISS.
• Assist with compliance, regulatory and related legal matters for BID and BISS.
• Assist with ordinary course corporate and fund matters including engagement letters and NDAs.
• Coordinate with fund finance, paralegal and tax teams on investment structuring and fund flows.
