A successful candidate will be a team player who enjoys taking on additional tasks and projects.**In this role you will:*** Provide corporate legal support to resolve complex contract and transactional matters by organizing, reviewing and preparing documents and maintaining relevant files.* Review, draft, negotiate and revise various contracts, which may include, commercial sales, licensing, confidentiality, supply chain, professional services and amendments, ensuring accuracy, compliance with legal and company standards, and flagging potential risks.* Research and summarize contractual terms and conditions, statutes, judicial decisions, legal articles, treaties, executive orders and legal codes.* Identify and discuss risks and advise company personnel on actions to address and mitigate such.* Schedule and coordinate meetings.* Handle and organize confidential and/or sensitive company information.* Interact with internal and external customers to resolve routine legal issues.**What you bring to the table:*** Minimum two-year degree and paralegal certificate* Minimum 1 year of experience: contract law support* Four-year degree: Business, English, or Pre-Law preferred* 5+ years’ experience preferred* Knowledge of legal concepts, corporate and employment law* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and use of technology* Excellent verbal and written communication skills* Analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills* Interpersonal skills* Ability to interact effectively and professionally with diverse internal and external customers* Detail-oriented and able to organize and prioritize work independently* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately**Work Shift and Hours:** Monday - Friday, standard business hours, in office**Compensation Details:** The expected base salary for this position is starting at $61,000 annually depending on experience.
