City of Henderson is seeking a Senior Legal Assistant in the City Attorney’s Office – Criminal Division to provide paraprofessional support to attorneys and prepare legal documents. The role may require weekend work based on operations and offers a four-day, 38-hour workweek.

The City of Henderson announces an examination to create an eligibility list and to fill one (1) vacancy for the classification of Senior Legal Assistant in the City Attorney's Office - Criminal Division. The eligibility list may be utilized to fill vacancies for this classification for up to one (1) year.
Under general supervision, provides paraprofessional support to attorneys in the City Attorney’s Office (CAO); prepares legal documents within established guidelines, acts as a team leader and trainer for legal support staff; and performs related duties as assigned.
Note: This position is typically scheduled to work Monday - Thursday, however, the Senior Legal Assistant may be required to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday) based on operational needs.

Skills-Based Keyboarding Examination (Remote, Pass/Fail) Will be sent Monday, September 28, 2026.
