Deliver high-quality teaching through lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions within the assigned discipline.
Demonstrated expertise in hydrogen and fuel cell technologies, decarbonization, sustainable engineering design, or closely related field.
Contribute to curriculum design, review, and enhancement to ensure programmes remain current, industry-relevant, and aligned with accreditation standards.
Develop engaging and innovative teaching and learning materials using appropriate digital tools and pedagogical approaches.
Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research projects, providing academic and research guidance to support student success.
Mentor and advise students to enhance their learning experience, professional development, and overall achievement.
Uphold and promote high standards of teaching excellence consistent with the University’s academic expectations.
Engage actively in scholarly research and contribute to the advancement of knowledge within the relevant field.
Publish research findings in reputable indexed journals (ISI / Scopus) and present at academic or professional conferences.
Participate in research projects as Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator, and contribute to securing internal or external research grants.
Develop a growing research profile with measurable outputs and impact aligned with the University’s research priorities.
Foster interdisciplinary and collaborative research activities with colleagues, industry, and external partners.
Participate in departmental, school, and faculty meetings, committees, and working groups.
Contribute to the administration, coordination, and continuous improvement of academic programmes.
Engage in continuous professional development to maintain currency in academic practice and subject expertise.
Support initiatives that strengthen partnerships with industry, community organisations, and professional bodies.
PhDinChemical Engineeringfrom a recognised university.
Minimum oftwo (2) yearsof relevant experience in teaching, research, and/or industry practice, preferably within a higher education environment.
Strong publication recordwith2–4 indexed journal publications (ISI / Scopus Q1 and Q2)within the last five (5) years.
Proven ability tosecure external research grantsasPrincipal Investigator, with acumulative value of RM50,000–RM75,000.
Scopus h-index of at least 4 will be considered an added advantage.
Demonstrated excellence in teaching delivery, curriculum development, and student engagement..
Experience in developing and implementing innovative teaching methodologies and effective use of educational technologies.
Active involvement in research, consultancy, or professional practice with evidence of scholarly or industry-relevant outputs.
Commitment to continuous professional development and active engagement with relevant professional or academic bodies.
