Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Senior Leaves & Accommodations Specialist to deliver leave, disability, and accommodation services across the Benefits Team. You will act as a liaison with the leaves administrator, manage complex cases, and ensure accurate leave dates and pay in collaboration with Matrix and payroll.

You will guide employees, managers, and HR Business Partners through the life cycle of leaves, uphold regulatory compliance, and protect confidentiality while addressing evolving needs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5 years Benefits related experience.
• Deep subject matter expertise with statutory disability plans and federal/state leaves (FMLA, ADA etc).
• Experience with HRIS and benefits databases and with Matrix leaves administrator.
• Excellent communication, organization, and confidentiality skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Senior Leaves & Accommodations Specialist for the Benefits Team.
• Act as liaison between Blue Origin and its leaves administrator (Matrix).
• Provide leaves case management oversight from initiation to return to work.
• Lead administrative aspects of leave cases including tracking and pay coordination.
• Conduct group and one-to-one consultations about leave and disability events.
• Collaborate with legal/compliance on regulatory issues and policy development.
