Job summary

Daily commuting to Deerfield, IL is expected. The role supports service providers in processing lease-related payments and implementing new leases with strong SOX adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and at least 1 year of experience in accounting, finance, business management or auditing.
• Experience communicating verbally and in writing to diverse audiences.
• Experience with analyzing and reporting data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Willing to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes.

Responsibilities

• Approves disbursements for lease-related expenses, processed by Service Provider, such as rent, CAM, insurance, utilities; verifies accuracy of payments and supporting documentation.
• Analyzes escalated bill payments that the Service Provider cannot resolve.
• Verifies the accuracy of the bill/claim and works with Landlords and Property Managers to resolve issues.
• Audits the initial setup of all new leases completed by Service Provider to account for all payment obligations.
• Audits monthly rent statements prepared by Service Provider and approves payments.
