Qualifications

• 5+ years online course design experience in higher education.
• Master's degree required; terminal degree preferred in instructional design.
• Experience with LMS (Blackboard, Brightspace, Moodle, Canvas) is required.
• Proficiency with eLearning tools (Articulate 360, Adobe CC, Kaltura, Panopto, Camtasia).
• Knowledge of ADA accessibility (504/508) and WCAG 2.1 is preferred.
• QM experience or certification is preferred.
• Experience in training or mentoring others is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary service to faculty and stakeholders to support teaching and learning tech.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop course outcomes and curricula for all modalities.
• Edit and design instructional content with SMEs for target audiences.
• Create course blueprints, scope and sequence, and media plans.
• Build and maintain master courses aligned with outcomes and diverse learners.
• Coordinate media production and ensure accessibility and QA standards.
• Develop LMS course components and ensure QA and proofreading.
• Monitor budgets and timelines; solve problems to meet deadlines.
• Oversee external vendors and contract instructional designers.
• Develop standard processes across the domain team.
• Oversee special projects as assigned.
