ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY (Remote Work Allowed)

We seek an innovative and experienced Learning Experience Designer & Technical Trainer to join the Technical Enablement team. You will collaborate with program managers, product managers, and engineers to create, implement, and evaluate effective learning programs for our implementation-focused staff and partners. Your role will be key in equipping teams with the knowledge to onboard customers, implement complex solutions, and drive partner success with our SaaS platform.

The ideal candidate is learner-centric, synthesizes inputs effectively, works well in an agile environment, and has a passion for SaaS implementation and professional services workflows. You will develop strategies, standards, and processes for technical training at Iron Mountain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult with leadership to identify and prioritize training needs based on impact.
  • Work with SMEs to define learning objectives, design experiences (synchronous and asynchronous), and develop content tailored to roles and topics. Modalities include coaching, mentorship, job aids, e-learning, instructor-led, and hands-on activities.
  • Advise on instructional design strategies and technology use.
  • Evaluate training outcomes and use feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Leverage data analytics to assess program effectiveness.
  • Facilitate instructor-led training (virtual & in-person).
  • Support change management with targeted learning interventions.
  • Research and assess new technologies to enhance learning experiences.
  • Stay current with learning sciences, instructional design, and emerging trends.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to team members.
  • Ensure training content reflects latest product features and best practices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Learning Sciences, or related field.
  • 5+ years developing content and curricula for enterprise software training.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Expertise in instructional design, adult learning theories, and e-learning tools.
  • Proficiency with LMS and authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate).
  • Certification program experience is a plus.
