We are looking for a Senior Learning Consultant to work with large K12 institutions as part of our Strategic Services Consulting team. The role involves helping customers manage change and optimize their use of Instructure products to meet pedagogical goals through strategic planning, tailored consultation, resource development, pedagogical expertise, and targeted coaching. The aim is to lead positive change, increase platform adoption, enhance learner engagement, and support organization-specific initiatives by customizing content and customer experience.
This position will primarily engage with project sponsors, institution leaders, instructional designers, faculty, and staff to effectively utilize Instructure products for instructional goals, emphasizing curriculum. Providing excellent customer service to maintain strong relationships is essential. The Senior Learning Consultant will assist in planning for change, expanding product use, incorporating best pedagogical practices, and building organizational capacity for sustained use post-consulting.
What you will be doing:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement communication, training, and engagement plans.
- Support organizational change by aligning with the institution’s vision and goals for Instructure products.
- Utilize data and inquiry processes to analyze challenges, apply targeted strategies, and improve teaching and learning.
- Mentor and motivate educators, leaders, and staff on Canvas, inspiring excellence in product use.
- Listen to institutional needs and develop resources such as model courses and support materials.
- Plan and conduct consulting sessions, helping leaders connect product use with instructional best practices.
- Follow up to monitor progress and ensure success.
- Work collaboratively with team members, Instructure employees, and clients to enhance Canvas utilization.
- Create and deliver engaging help documents, course materials, and presentations tailored to the organization.
- Support the customer’s Canvas rollout, adhering to internal procedures, security, privacy, and institutional policies.
- Travel as needed to support product implementation.
- Identify additional support, training, or consulting needs.
What you will need to know/have:
- Minimum three years of Canvas admin experience.
- Preferred one year of experience with Mastery Connect.
- Experience with other Instructure Learning Platform products is desirable.
- At least one year in educational leadership overseeing LMS support teams is preferred.
- Proven ability to create engaging, inclusive Canvas courses.
- Experience leading change and implementing technology in large organizations.
- At least one year of developing professional development for educators.
- Three or more years of teaching experience, including digital environments.
- Knowledge of technology adoption, professional development, and edtech best practices.
- Strong leadership presence, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Creative, detail-oriented problem solver with the ability to elicit cooperation across various levels.
- Ability to prioritize and adapt in high-pressure, ambiguous environments.
- Experience delivering engaging presentations and maintaining session relevance.
- Willingness to travel for client support and onsite engagements.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Technology or related field; Master’s preferred.

$90,000 - $100,000 annually
This range reflects our target hiring range, with flexibility based on experience, skills, and market factors.
