Job summary

Amazon Web Services is seeking a Senior Learning Architect for the Employee Skilling team (SSI). This role serves as the technical design authority for learning programs, ensuring rigor, coherence, and alignment with Amazon standards while serving ~1.5M Amazonians across varying backgrounds.

You will architect end-to-end pathways, blend self-paced content with hands-on labs, curate materials, and collaborate with delivery, data, and enablement teams to deliver coherent, scalable learning

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
• 3+ years of Learning & Development and course facilitation experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Technical Training, Design, or a related field
• Experience in a training role, including technical training
• Experience developing or delivering training programs across multiple sites or regions

Responsibilities

• Pathway Architecture & Design: Design and maintain end-to-end learning pathways across AI fluency and foundational cloud skills
• Program Rigor & Quality Assurance: Establish learning design standards, assessment frameworks, and competency validation criteria
• Content Curation & Development: Curate, sequence, and adapt existing content; develop original materials
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with delivery, business development, and data teams to translate demand signals into learning interventions
• Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Evaluate emerging learning technologies and iterate on pathway design based on feedback
