Job summary

Swagelok in Solon, OH is seeking a senior Lean/Foundational Lean leader to guide and execute improvement initiatives across manufacturing. You will drive standard work, lead Kaizen events, and partner with leadership to meet cost, quality, service and safety goals.

The role requires a 4-year degree, 10+ years of supervision, and deep knowledge of lean methods including OEE, TPM, and Value Stream Mapping. Mastery in problem-solving and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline or relevant work experience.
• 10+ years of supervision/management in manufacturing or technical environments.
• 5+ years leading large departmental or mid-size corporate projects.
• Strong understanding and application of lean principles: OEE, Kaizen, TPM, VSM, Visual Factory.
• Advanced problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of foundational lean methods to improve manufacturing results.
• Drive the continuous improvement toolbox (Project Management, Lean, Problem Solving, etc.).
• Develop and implement process improvements and standard work to reduce cost and improve quality.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to enhance lean management and associate competency.
• Develop metrics for lean initiatives focused on quality and OEE on the shop floor.
• Participate in a Community of Practice for foundational lean efforts.
