Job summary

Gabriella White seeks a Process Improvement Engineer to drive Lean and continuous improvement on our upholstery production floor, partnering with production teams to analyze workflows, labor, and material flow across cutting, sewing, upholstery, assembly, and finishing.

You will apply data-driven methods to deliver measurable gains in safety, quality, delivery, and labor efficiency through practical, sustainable floor improvements.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 3–7 years of manufacturing, IE, or process improvement experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication; data-driven mindset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to analyze data and present insights.

Responsibilities

• Conducts time studies and workflow analysis to support labor standards and opportunities for improvement.
• Analyzes manufacturing processes to document improvements and quantify gains in efficiency, quality, or safety.
• Supports staffing and labor utilization analysis based on volumes and constraints.
• Justifies small-scale equipment or process changes to boost safety, efficiency, or ergonomics.
• Creates reports highlighting performance gaps and recommended actions.
• Participates in layout and workstation improvements to improve material flow and ergonomics.
• Leads continuous improvement projects, kaizen events, and structured problem solving.
• Collaborates with production, quality, maintenance, engineering, and planning teams to standardize processes.
