Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in Texas seeks a Senior Operations Engineer to lead the buildout and ramp-up of a new blades and vanes foundry, delivering complex projects on time and at minimum cost with lean, visual production flows.

You will own layouts, manage multi-discipline projects end-to-end, and develop data tools to analyze delivery, capacity, and cost, coordinating daily with contractors and engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 5+ years of professional experience in industrial, operations, or construction engineering.
• Experience with lean principles and project management.
• Experience with production planning and multi-disciplinary coordination.

Responsibilities

• Design and own factory and production area layouts following lean principles.
• Own the full lifecycle of the foundry buildout, ensuring on-time and under-budget delivery.
• Act as primary construction project manager for multi-discipline aspects of the project.
• Lead by example to ensure rapid project completion and continuous improvement.
• Perform scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
