Job summary

Generac Power Systems is looking for a Continuous Improvement Engineer III to lead Lean initiatives across the manufacturing value stream at our facility. You will coach teams, implement continuous improvement projects, and drive waste reduction using the Generac Manufacturing System (GMS) and standard work.

A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 5 years of CI/Lean experience are required. Preferred qualifications include Kanban, TPM, Kaizen demonstrations, and project leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• 5 years of Continuous Improvement/Lean experience.
• Knowledge of Lean tools (5S, SMED, TPM).

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean initiatives using GMS across the value stream.
• Coach teams to implement continuous improvement solutions.
• Develop and implement standard work for continuous improvement.
• Mentor peers in Lean principles and tools.
• Participate with corporate CI team on standards and programs.
• Support facility strategic plans and initiatives.
