Job summary

A-dec Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineer to own supplier quality assurance for all sourced materials and components in Newberg, Oregon. You will partner with Purchasing to select, evaluate, and develop suppliers and lead supplier-related qualification activities.

You will drive continuous improvement, implement corrective actions, manage new product introductions from a supply chain perspective, and mentor direct reports. Domestic travel up to 15% is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of Quality Engineering experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and cross-functional coordination.
• Advanced project and time management skills required.
• Ability to travel up to 15% (domestic and some international).

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains supplier selection, evaluation, and performance processes.
• Leads supplier quality engineering activities and corrective actions.
• Oversees supplier development, qualification, and incoming inspections.
• Supports new product introductions from a supply chain perspective.
• Ensures compliance with requirements, contracts, and safety standards.
