Job summary

Charles Schwab is seeking a seasoned leader to oversee alternative investment asset servicing within Private Markets Operations. You will guide reconciliations, distributions, valuations, and corporate actions, coordinating with technology, risk, and compliance to strengthen controls and client service.

The role requires extensive experience in financial services and alternative investments, plus notable people leadership.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of financial services experience.
• Three or more years in alternative investment operations, asset management, custody, fund administration or related field.
• Three or more years of people leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of alternative investment structures and servicing events.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accurate and timely asset servicing including reconciliations, pricing, distributions and corporate actions.
• Lead multiple teams; set priorities, service expectations, controls and escalation paths.
• Partner with Technology, Product, Risk and Compliance to modernize operations and strengthen controls.
• Drive process improvements to simplify work, improve scalability and client experience.
• Coach managers and staff; build succession, foster inclusion and accountability.
