Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a Learning & Development Senior Manager, Assurance to design and deliver technical and functional learning for client-facing teams. The role partners across portfolios to build a readiness model that advances performance and meets continuing professional education requirements.

You will lead a team, drive curriculum strategy, manage budgets and vendors, and foster a culture of collaboration, executive presence and results. Travel approx. 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; emphasis in learning or related field preferred; Master’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 8 years of Learning and Development experience in a complex organization
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience managing others with high-performing teams and inclusive culture
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; no sponsorship
• Experience developing learning strategy and operations for technical content
• Experience with adult learning principles and multiple learning modalities

Responsibilities

• Develop the strategy and implementation plan for firm-wide learning for the assigned client group in line with the overall firm learning vision and strategy; provide solutions that improve performance and meet CPE requirements
• Develop and grow relationships with service line and Professional Practice Group leadership and stakeholders and utilize performance consulting skills to identify learning needs for the portfolio
• Design, maintain, and evolve the firm-wide learning curriculum portfolio for the assigned client group, partnering with stakeholders and SMEs
• Create an annual plan to execute the curriculum portfolio strategy with strong project management and milestone tracking
• Serve as primary owner for the curriculum portfolio, leading a team for curriculum and program design, delivery and evaluation
• Lead direct report(s) and learning team members to foster high performance via advocacy, coaching and training
• Oversee curriculum portfolio operations including budgeting, resources, facilitator recruitment, delivery management and vendor relationships
• Partner with Learning and People Team to ensure a consistent approach across learning initiatives
