Job summary

Capital One seeks Full Stack Software Engineers to join a team building the Content Hub—a vector and graph database platform for semantic content retrieval. You will own embedding pipelines, indexing, and integration with AI content generation.

The role requires designing, building, and operating scalable data infrastructure with JavaScript, Java, Python, and Go across AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes. Collaboration with product managers and Agile teams is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4+ years software engineering experience.
• 1+ year cloud computing experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with data infrastructure, AI/ML tooling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Content Hub - vector and graph DB infrastructure for semantic retrieval.
• Develop embedding pipelines and manage indexing as content evolves.
• Lead embedding model selection and refresh strategies; balance quality and cost.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with product managers to deliver cloud-based solutions.
