Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and support to business units, technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Develop, review, and debug secure, high-quality production code.
• Influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in one or more technical areas.
• Contribute to the engineering community by promoting firmwide frameworks, tools, and best practices in the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Encourage the adoption of leading-edge technologies among peers and project teams.

Minimum Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 5+ years of applied experience.
• Extensive experience (over ten years) developing applications using Java 8, Spring Framework, and databases (RDS, NoSQL, Caching).
• Proficiency in React for front-end development and experience with Oracle/Postgres & NoSQL databases.
• Ability to independently solve design and functionality problems.
• Experience implementing AWS services using Terraform.
• Design and implement robust AWS-based serverless solutions to automate workflows across HR applications, improving efficiency and scalability.
• Experience with integration patterns such as Realtime, Near Real-Time, and Batch processing.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Educational background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building large-scale product systems in large financial institutions.
• Experience with Oracle Human Capital Management (Oracle HCM).
• AWS certification.
