As a Senior Lead Software Engineer within the Corporate & Investment Bank's Securitized Product Group, you will play a key role in an agile team. Your responsibilities include enhancing, creating, and delivering high-quality technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. Your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will be essential in making significant business contributions across diverse technologies and applications.

Job Responsibilities

1. Provide technical guidance and support to business teams, contractors, and vendors.
2. Develop, review, and debug secure, high-quality production code.
3. Influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations.
4. Serve as a subject matter expert in one or more technical areas.
5. Contribute to the engineering community by promoting firmwide frameworks, tools, and SDLC practices.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java.
• Deep knowledge of software applications and technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, AI, ML, mobile).
• Ability to independently resolve design and functionality challenges.
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies like CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
• Background in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Familiarity with modern back-end and front-end technologies, including React.js.
• Experience with technologies such as AWS (EKS/ECS), Postgres, Redis, Websockets.
• Knowledge of trading systems, high-frequency low latency implementation, or analytics applications.
