Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer to own production outcomes and design high-performance distributed systems within the Corporate AI/ML Data Platforms team. You will build cloud-native services, implement IaC, and drive observability across microservices while partnering with data science and platform teams.

You will mentor engineers, influence architectural decisions, and ensure secure, scalable solutions that support AI-driven innovation across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of applied software engineering experience with Java/J2EE

Responsibilities

• Architects and implements low-latency, high-throughput Java Spring Boot based services
• Designs cloud-native service architectures with HA requirements
• Implements IaC for scalable cloud deployments
• Develops observability and monitoring solutions for production systems
• Translates evolving requirements into stable service designs
• Leads design reviews and enforces engineering standards
• Owns production outcomes end-to-end and optimizes performance and reliability
• Mentors engineers and promotes AI-assisted development practices
