Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer to join the AI/ML Data Platform. You will drive secure, scalable, and trusted technology products in an agile team, mentoring others and shaping design and operations across multiple technologies.

The role emphasizes leadership in AI-assisted development, secure coding, and rapid feature release within Snowflake-enabled environments, with a focus on operational resilience and security in financial services.

Qualifications

5+ years in software engineering with system design, development, testing and operations.
Advanced Python programming.
Strong understanding of responsible AI in engineering workflows and secure handling of data.
Experience leading adoption of enterprise AI-enabled development tools and validating AI outputs.
Cloud-native experience (AWS) and Snowflake.
Familiarity with CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and security in SDLC.

Responsibilities

Provide technical guidance to teams, contractors, and vendors.
Develop secure, high-quality production code and conduct code reviews.
Promote AI-assisted engineering practices to improve quality, speed, and reliability.
Leverage SDLC tools and AI-assisted capabilities to scale automation.
Define processes to release new features quickly (Snowflake-centric).
Influence product design, functionality, and operational processes.
Act as a subject matter expert across engineering domains.
Contribute to engineering community with firmwide practices and tooling.
Develop creative software solutions and troubleshoot complex problems.
Identify opportunities to automate recurring remediation tasks.
