Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior software engineering leader to drive a portfolio of distributed microservices and full-stack systems. You will mentor developers, contribute to code reviews, and collaborate with product managers to deliver cloud-based solutions that support financial empowerment.

Candidates should have 6+ years of software engineering experience, 1+ year in cloud computing, and 9+ years in at least one major language.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
6+ years of software engineering experience (internships excluded).
1+ year of cloud computing experience (AWS/Azure/GCP).
9+ years of experience in at least one of the core languages (JS, Java, TS, SQL, Python, Go).
4+ years in cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure or similar).
4+ years of open source frameworks experience.
1+ years of people management experience.
2+ years of Agile practices.
Experience leveraging interactive AI tooling to accelerate productivity.

Responsibilities

Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers to meet regulatory needs.
Mentor and share knowledge, code or evaluate code when asked, participate in tech communities.
Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver cloud-based solutions for financial empowerment.
Work with languages and tools including JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Go; Docker, Kubernetes; AWS tools.
