Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer to join the Corporate Sector‑Liquidity Risk team.

You will be part of a fast‑paced agile group delivering secure, scalable technology products across multiple functions, including Global Finance, Corporate Treasury, Risk Management, and Compliance. Responsibilities include providing technical guidance, delivering secure production code, and driving design decisions.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 5+ years of applied experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering design, development, testing, and production stability.
• Proficiency in Java and/or Python.
• Strong Big Data skills: Spark, Databricks, Data Lake.
• Experience with AWS: ECS, EKS, EMR, Lambda.
• Deep knowledge of cloud/AI/ML domains.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience in developing/debugging/maintaining code in large corporate environments.
• Collaborative with global teams across time zones.
• Self-starter who reaches out to teams to deliver solutions.
• Familiar with agile, CI/CD, and security.

Seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer who has strong experience with Java or Python, Big Data, and AWS.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
• Hands‑on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Advanced in one or more programming language including Java and/or Python
• Strong Big‑Data and database skills including Spark, Databricks, and/or Data Lake
• Experience with AWS cloud computing using ECS, EKS, EMR, Lambda, etc.
• Advanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes with considerable in‑depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
• Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight
• Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment
• Ability to collaborate well with global teams in geographically distributed locations across time zones
• Self‑starter, able to reach out to various team members, users and partner teams to get solutions delivered
• Familiar with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum) and CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security
