JPMorganChase is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer to drive full software development lifecycle efforts in a collaborative, innovation-driven environment. The role emphasizes AI-assisted tooling adoption, secure coding practices, and scalable Java-based applications.

You will work with large teams, partner with stakeholders daily, and contribute to driving improvements across delivery, testing, and operations in the SDLC/TLM toolchain.

Formación

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced in one or more programming language Java.
• Demonstrated experience leading effective use of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools with the ability to set team expectations for validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity considerations, secure handling of inputs/outputs, and adherence to resiliency and security expectations.

Responsabilidades

• Building internet scale applications.
• Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others.
• Drives adoption and governance of approved AI-assisted engineering practices across teams to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes, with measurable validation standards.
• Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain, including approved AI-assisted development and automation capabilities.
• Software development with Java and frameworks such as Spring, Spring Web, Spring Boot, Spring Security.
• Use of relational databases, SQL, and data integrity constraints.
• Practice following Agile methodology.
• Working in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals.
