Job summary

The Greenridge Group is seeking an experienced Scheduler V (Lead Scheduler) to support a major capital improvement program for the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD). This senior position requires managing complex multi-project schedules, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring schedule integrity throughout delivery.

Ideal candidate brings 15+ years of capital construction scheduling, expertise in Primavera and EVMS, and leadership in mentoring project schedulers.

Qualifications

15+ years of capital construction scheduling experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Business Administration, or Construction Management (or equivalent experience).
Advanced proficiency with Primavera scheduling software and Microsoft Office, including MS Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Experience developing and managing cost- and resource-loaded schedules.
Demonstrated knowledge of EVMS or similar processes.
Strong knowledge of cost engineering, scheduling best practices, critical path methodology, and schedule forensics.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and update baseline, master, and detailed project schedules.
Monitor construction progress against approved baseline schedules and key milestones.
Review contractor schedule submissions for compliance, logic, critical path, milestones, and reporting requirements.
Perform detailed schedule QA/QC and critical path analysis.
Conduct Time Impact Analysis (TIA) and delay analysis and evaluate schedule impacts.
Develop and maintain complex cost- and resource-loaded schedules.
Support Earned Value Management (EVM), cash-flow forecasting, resource planning, and program reporting.
Identify schedule risks, delays, conflicts, and potential recovery or mitigation strategies.
Prepare schedule performance reports, forecasts, variance analyses, and status updates.
Lead schedule discussions during progress meetings and stakeholder sessions.
Coordinate closely with contractors, designers, project controls, construction management, and program leadership.
Establish and maintain scheduling standards, processes, coding structures, and best practices.
Lead onboarding and provide day-to-day guidance and supervision to project schedulers.
