Job summary

PayPal is seeking an experienced product leader to own the horizontal AI portfolio, driving strategy, architecture, delivery, and value realization across PSP & Crypto, People & Places, Strategy, and more. You will collaborate with data scientists, UX researchers, designers, and product teams to turn data-driven insights into scalable products.

The role demands 8+ years of relevant experience, leadership capability, and a strong background in applied AI/ML within payments or financial services.

Qualifications

• 8+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience leading others.
• Experience across multiple business units or a horizontal platform team in a large enterprise.
• Background in applied AI/ML product management (recommendation systems, copilots, workflow automation).
• Experience in payments, fintech, or financial services.

Responsibilities

• Drives product strategy with cross-functional stakeholders aligned to the product vision.
• Plans and implements the architectural roadmap balancing innovation, regulatory requirements, time-to-market and profitability.
• Assesses customer experience and translates needs into product requirements.
• Sets up data gathering mechanisms to measure usability, market analysis, and success metrics.
• Leads analytics, customer discovery, market research and competitive analysis to drive decisions.
