Job summary

PayPal is seeking a Senior Staff Product Security Engineer, AI Security to protect 439M active accounts and $1.8T in annual payment volume. You will lead Product Security across AI security controls, secure AI-assisted development, and ensure safe AI-enabled products across PayPal's platforms.

You will partner with Security Architecture, engineering, product, and platform teams to translate AI security requirements into scalable controls, testing, and enforcement, mentoring engineers along the

Qualifications

• 8+ years relevant experience with Bachelor's or equivalent.
• Hands-on familiarity with application security tools.
• Experience with at least one programming language (Ruby, Java, Python, JavaScript, or Swift).
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Terraform and Git.
• Experience with at least one cloud vendor (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong understanding of OAuth 2.0, SAML.
• Experience securing AI systems.
• Experience mentoring engineers.
