Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Procurement Engineering Specialist (PES) at Entergy Operations, Inc.-EOI to define technical and quality requirements for materials and contracts for nuclear plants. The PES evaluates requests and ensures the license basis, code requirements, and regulatory commitments are met, with emphasis on PE Evals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities for technical evaluations.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate clearly with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define technical and quality requirements (TQs) for materials, parts, and contracts per QA program.
• Perform PE Evals, document conclusions, and coordinate with internal/external stakeholders.
• Support qualification programs and apply regulatory commitments in procurement.
• Collaborate with procurement specialists, designers, and vendors to resolve issues.
