You will mentor engineers, manage major capital projects from concept to handover, and continuously improve processes while aligning with business goals. A strong background in refinery technologies and risk assessment is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• 10+ years in the petrochemical industry with at least 3 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Extensive knowledge of refinery processes, catalysis, and separation technologies.
• Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., UniSim, PROMAX) and project management tools.
• Strong understanding of HAZOP, LOPA, and other risk assessment methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of petrochemical processes, focusing on efficiency, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of chemical engineers and process technicians.
• Oversee the execution of major capital projects, from conceptualization through commissioning and handover.
• Conduct advanced process hazard analyses (PHAs) and ensure implementation of mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with operational management to align engineering strategies with business objectives.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
