Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Sr. Lead Machine Learning Engineer (IC) in McLean, VA to own design and delivery of scalable ML models and systems. You will work with product and data science teams on architecture, model selection, and production deployment.

You will lead ML engineering efforts, retrain and monitor models, and leverage cloud architectures to optimize performance. Strong coding in Python/Scala/Java and distributed computing are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Masters/PhD in CS/EE/Math is preferred.
• Strong coding and ML system design experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deliver ML models and components with product and data science teams.
