Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical oversight for daily manufacturing and chemical operations to ensure peak equipment reliability.
• Lead the full lifecycle of capital projects, from initial design and specification to final commissioning and qualification.
• Utilize advanced Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to validate equipment designs and optimize process efficiency.
• Drive innovation by identifying and integrating new materials and processing technologies to solve complex industrial challenges.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to manage project budgets, schedules, and risk mitigation strategies effectively.
• Develop and present high-level technical documentation and strategic proposals to stakeholders and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• 10+ years of professional engineering experience within heavy industrial, refinery, or chemical manufacturing sectors.
• Demonstrated expertise in project leadership, including scope development and budget management.
• Strong working knowledge of ASME codes and regulatory compliance standards.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, or AutoDesk.
• Advanced experience with ANSYS or similar simulation tools for structural analysis.
• Active PMP certification or equivalent project management credential.
• Proven track record of troubleshooting large-scale mechanical systems in high-stakes environments.
