Job summary

SST Direct is seeking a Facilities HVAC Technician IV – Senior Lead in Briggs, TX. This hands-on role pairs technical leadership with advanced troubleshooting to ensure reliable HVAC and environmental systems across multiple Texas facilities.

Lead RCA/RCCA investigations, mentor technicians, and oversee safety, maintenance, and project execution. EPA Section 608 Universal Certification required; 12+ years of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of commercial or industrial HVAC experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience with 5–100+ ton systems.
• Advanced knowledge of refrigeration, airflow, electrical systems, and controls.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical/BAS failures independently.
• Experience with RCA/RCCA and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex HVAC troubleshooting and repairs as senior escalation resource.
• Mentor HVAC Technicians I–III and set maintenance standards.
• Coordinate contractors during installation, startup, and testing.
• Maintain CMMS records and safety documentation.
• Support reliability improvements and capital projects.
