Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering)
• At least 6 years of software engineering experience
• At least 3 years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• At least 3 years of people management experience
• Master’s degree and multi-cloud exposure are preferred
• 5+ years contributing to open source frameworks
• 9+ years of coding in two or more of: Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, Scala

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers with deep experience in distributed microservices and full-stack systems
• Mentor engineers and participate in code reviews
• Collaborate with product managers to deliver cloud-based solutions that drive customer impact
• Lead teams using Java, Scala, Python, Go, Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript, with Docker and Kubernetes and AWS services
• Drive multi-year technology roadmaps and investment priorities
• Develop and manage lead engineers and leadership succession plans
• Align engineering execution with enterprise goals and drive cross-functional outcomes
• Design and implement large-scale, reliable, cloud-native systems
