Job summary

Citi in Tampa seeks a seasoned Lead Full Stack Developer to guide a high-performing team building scalable web applications and microservices with Spring Boot and Angular. You will own technical decisions, mentor developers, and collaborate with product, architecture, and QA to deliver high-quality software on a cloud-based stack (AWS) using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

The role requires 5–8 years in software development, leadership experience, and strong SQL skills with PostgreSQL

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years in a technical/leadership role, mentoring engineers and influencing architecture.
• Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
• Hands-on with container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).
• AWS deployment knowledge (ECS, S3, RDS, CloudWatch).
• CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Strong SQL skills with PostgreSQL and Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of full-stack applications using Spring Boot and Angular.
• Architect and implement scalable microservices deployed in Docker containers orchestrated with Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and QA to define and deliver high-quality, performant software.
• Guide and mentor a team of developers through code reviews, best practices, and technical problem-solving.
• Participate in and lead Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
• Work with Scrum Masters and Product Owners to ensure timely and quality feature delivery.
• Manage deployments using AWS services; ensure smooth CI/CD integration.
• Own technical decisions and contribute to long-term architecture strategy and planning.
