Job summary

Davis & Associates, Inc. in Indianapolis is seeking an experienced Lead Estimator to drive preconstruction activities and develop accurate, competitive construction estimates from concept through bid.

You will work closely with Project Executives, Project Managers, and field leaders to evaluate opportunities, prepare cost analyses, and position the firm for successful pursuits in diverse markets across Indiana.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of conceptual estimates, budgets, competitive bids, GMPs, and detailed construction cost estimates.
• Review drawings, specifications, addenda, bid documents, and other project information to fully understand project scope and requirements.
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs and pricing for applicable scopes of work.
• Develop comprehensive scopes of work and bid packages for subcontractor solicitation.
• Identify scope gaps, overlaps, exclusions, allowances, and potential project risks.
• Prepare detailed estimate summaries and supporting documentation
