Job summary

The Senior Lead Estimator – Structural Steel / Industrial at Loenbro in Gilbert, AZ leads the estimating group for complex steel projects. You will develop accurate, competitive estimates for industrial facilities, water treatment, data centers, mining and more, overseeing quantity takeoffs, pricing, subcontractor input, and risk analysis.

Qualifications

• ,8–12+ years of relevant industrial construction steel estimating experience.
• Tekla Structures or PowerFAB experience 5+ years.
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
• Extensive estimating experience and recognized technical authority in at least one construction discipline.
• Demonstrate success, leading complex or high-risk pursuits with minimal oversight.
• Advanced capability in estimate strategy, cost development, risk, QA/QC, and cross-functional coordination.
• Advanced proficiency with applicable estimating, takeoff, reporting, and document-management systems.
• Ability to mentor others and influence consistent estimating practices.

Responsibilities

• Validate quantity take-offs and ensure accurate input into estimating software.
• Apply advanced cost analysis and contingency planning for risk mitigation.
• Estimating bids for structural steel, miscellaneous metals, and specialized non-ferrous metals.
• Lead estimate turnover and lessons-learned activities for assigned pursuits.
• Mentor estimators and improve technical consistency.
