Job summary

Exyte seeks a Senior Lead QA/QC Engineer to establish and improve quality standards across projects, ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, and regulatory requirements. You will mentor staff and drive enhancements in the Quality Management System (QMS).

The role interfaces with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients, supporting Engineering, Design, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning to deliver high-quality, compliant project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; equivalent experience may be accepted for extensive work responsibilities.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Quality Management in construction.
• Multidisciplinary QA/QC experience across Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Piping, HVAC, Electrical & Instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain QMS per ISO 9001 and project standards.
• Lead audits and ensure compliance with client standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate project quality plans, inspections, and tests; drive preventive actions.
• Support project safety reviews and risk management from a quality perspective.
• Closeout activities including customer feedback and lessons learned.

The Senior Lead QA/QC Engineer is responsible for establishing, overseeing, and continuously improving quality standards across all projects and all phases, ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, and regulatory requirements. This role conducts audits, and is intended to be involved as Quality Control for the Engineering and Design Phase. Additionally, the Lead QA/QC Engineer mentors staff and drives enhancements in the overall Quality Management System (QMS). Working closely with internal department leaders, subcontractors, and clients, this position supports projects across Engineering and Design, Procurement, Subcontracting, Commercial, Project Management, Construction, and Commissioning. The role provides an opportunity to contribute to complex projects across diverse industries while ensuring alignment with Exyte's internal policies, strategies, client specifications, and local regulations. The Senior Lead QA/QC Engineer is accountable for managing the Quality program to ensure comprehensive project execution, delivering superior quality and achieving customer satisfaction.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

• Quality Management System: Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001 and project standards.
• Project Set up: Act as the primary point of contact for quality management during project initiation. Ensure quality obligations are integrated into project plans, including Project Quality Plans (PQP), Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and Project Execution Plans (PEP). Align quality activities with operations, engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
• Audit & Compliance: Plan, organize, and execute internal and external audits. Ensure compliance with client-specific standards such as Aramco or ADNOC and other applicable regulatory requirements. Implement corrective and preventive actions based on audit findings.
• Project Reviews & Safety: Participate in project safety, operability, and technical reviews, providing quality-related guidance and recommendations. Support risk management through proactive identification of quality and compliance issues.
• Project Closeout: Ensure all quality deliverables are completed and compliant for final project handover. Coordinate the Customer Satisfaction Survey and report outcomes to capture client feedback. Drive lessons-learned sessions to improve future project execution.

Show your expertise

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (the required education degree may be substituted by extensive professional experience involving similar work responsibilities and/or additional training certificates in relevant domains)
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Quality Management in construction companies
• Multidisciplinary experience in Quality Management; Civil, Structural Steel, Mechanical, Piping, HVAC, Electrical and Instrumentation, Process, with ensuring that QA/QC activities are performed aligned with Project standards, specifications, local regulations and laws, international standards, and aligned with Client needs.

Preferred

• Quality Certifications (Auditor, PMP, etc.)
• Knowledge of MEP inspections
• MEP knowledge
• Knowledge of relevant building codes and standards national and local
• Scheduling knowledge and construction sequencing of large projects
