Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Senior Lead Security Engineer for Email to protect critical communications across multiple locations including Seattle and Jersey City. You will lead an agile team, shape the email security strategy, and drive modernization while partnering with Cyber, Risk, Compliance, and Audit to reduce risk.

You will define roadmaps, govern security controls, and deliver AI-enabled security improvements across cloud and on-premises platforms.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of cybersecurity experience including leading enterprise email security programs.
• Expertise in email security technologies such as secure email gateways, phishing protection, encryption, cloud email security platforms, DKIM/SPF/DMARC.
• Experience designing, implementing and operating enterprise-scale security architectures in regulated environments.
• Advanced knowledge of software engineering, cloud computing, AI/ML or related technologies.
• Strong threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, risk analysis and security control validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, architecture, engineering and lifecycle management of enterprise email security platforms.
• Define roadmap for email security capabilities including gateways, phishing protection, encryption and DLP.
• Serve as technical authority for email security architecture across cybersecurity, resiliency and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with Cyber, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Audit and stakeholders to manage security risk.
• Lead modernization initiatives from concept to deployment including migrations and upgrades.
• Drive incident response, threat analysis and remediation for email threats.
• Establish metrics and reporting showing platform effectiveness and business value.
• Develop executive-level strategy papers and governance communications for leadership.
• Manage vendor relationships and drive accountability for roadmaps and performance.
