Job summary

W-Industries of Texas, LLC is seeking a Senior Lead Electrical Engineer to provide technical leadership for electrical disciplines on capital, maintenance, and turnaround projects in petrochemical, refining, LNG, and oil & gas. You will oversee design, ensure quality and safety compliance, mentor junior engineers, and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams from concept through construction.

Qualifications

12+ years of electrical engineering experience in petrochemical, refining, LNG or oil & gas.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering projects.
Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and codes.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the design and development of electrical systems and components.
Review and approve electrical drawings, calculations, and documentation.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to meet project goals.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical engineering issues.
Participate in project planning, scheduling, and cost control efforts.
Support field activities, including installation, commissioning, and inspections.
Conduct design reviews and risk assessments for electrical systems.
