Job summary

Solomon Page is looking for a DevOps Engineer in New York, NY, to enhance the cloud infrastructure of their products. You'll collaborate with application developers and IT professionals to automate operations and ensure system reliability and security.

The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of DevOps experience, expertise with Terraform, and strong knowledge of cloud services. A focus on optimizing performance and implementing security best practices is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in a DevOps role.
• At least 2+ years of experience with Terraform.
• Expert knowledge of cloud concepts and services (EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, etc.).
• Expert level knowledge of Linux. Strong scripting skills for automation.
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve incidents.
• Good knowledge of database configuration and troubleshooting.
• Thorough understanding of security principles.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems.
• Implement and enforce security best practices.
• Collaborate with software developers to optimize performance.
• Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
• Provide system support on call.
