Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a Senior Lead Cyber Security Engineer to design, implement, and manage enterprise data protection solutions including SecuPi DAM, Microsoft Purview, DLP, CASB and Zscaler controls. You will drive data visibility, classification, encryption, and secure integration across cloud, on‑premises, and SaaS environments.

The role leads enterprise initiatives, guides SecuPi integrations via SDKs and APIs, and collaborates with cloud and application teams to enforce data security

Qualifications

• 9+ years in Cyber Security / Data Protection Engineering
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Certifications (CISSP, CISM, cloud) preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of SecuPi (DAM) controls and data-level encryption
• Lead implementation and support of Microsoft Purview Information Protection, Data Classification, Sensitivity Labeling, and DLP capabilities
• Lead implementation and administration of Zscaler DLP, CASB, ZIA, ZPA, and SSE controls to protect enterprise data
• Design, develop, and maintain custom solutions using the SecuPi SDK to enhance application integration
• Develop automated onboarding solutions for databases, applications, and monitoring policies using SecuPi APIs and SDK frameworks.
