Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer in the WxT Data and Integrations team to lead data engineering efforts for HR and Employee Experience data products. This role drives architecture, coding excellence, and strategic decisions across multiple data platforms and businesses.

You will partner with Product and Architecture to shape the data production factory, ensure TDQ/BDQ, security, and cost governance, and uplift the data platform to deliver scalable, reliable HR data

Qualifications

• 5+ years applied experience solving complex technical items within your domain of expertise.
• Hands-on Data Engineering development, coding, AI-code tools and automation.
• Experience with cloud data platforms and big data technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands on delivery of data pipeline and architecture solutions across multiple businesses.
• Proficient in data production pipeline aspects driven by x-as-Code (extraction, transformation, data quality, security).
• Build modular designs that can be auto-repeatable as data production frameworks.
• Transform HR/EX into modern data product offerings scalable for business needs.
• Participate as a key member of data engineering scrum teams and influence peer leaders and senior stakeholders.
• Partner with Product and Architecture to influence resource allocation, budget, and processes.
• Uphold SDLC, design patterns and engineer upskilling.
• Modernize data platforms for TDQ/BDQ, security, FinOps and operational excellence.
• Carry governance accountability for coding decisions, costs, and maintainability.
• Advance diversity and inclusion within the team.
