Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on architecture concepts
• 5+ years applied experience in data architecture, reporting, and analytics
• Experience with cloud-native environments and AI capabilities in architecture workflows
• Strong governance, data quality, and security awareness
• Leadership in SDLC with code reviews, CI/CD, and release governance

Responsibilities

• Represent the Merchant Payments product family in technical governance bodies and propose improvements to architecture governance practices
• Drive Snowflake-based analytics and AI enablement with governed data products
• Define reference architectures and reusable components with engineering and platform teams
• Leverage enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within architecture and engineering workflows
• Sponsor data governance across ownership, lineage, quality SLAs, and access controls
• Drive decisions influencing product design, capabilities, performance, and security
• Develop secure and high-quality production code and review others' code
• Serve as a subject matter expert and advocate for software development lifecycle frameworks
