Job summary

Lantern is seeking a Senior Lead of Commercial Planning & Compensation within the Commercial Strategy & Operations team. Based in New York with hybrid work in a fast-growing healthcare-focused environment, you will own the end-to-end planning cycle and incentive design for all Commercial roles, reporting to the VP of CSO.

You will develop models, create board-ready materials, and ensure accurate quarterly payouts while partnering with Finance and Field Ops to drive Lantern’s growth and value

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Background in investment banking or management consulting.
• Advanced Excel skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strategic thinker who can articulate long-term value creation.
• Highly organized with persistence and follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Own the annual Commercial planning cycle end to end: long-term growth ambitions, OKRs, Commercial design, and compensation planning for all Commercial roles, with Field Operations and Finance.
• Design and administer incentive compensation plans for Sales, Client Success, and Partnerships, and ensure policies are documented and maintained in real time.
• Manage one direct report, a Commissions Analyst, and oversee accuracy/timeliness of all commissions payouts.
• Build, maintain, and improve long-term planning models with clear documentation and robust logic.
• Develop Board and executive materials on Commercial strategy and performance vs. plan, including quarterly reporting and ad hoc analysis.
