Job summary

Lantern is seeking a Director of Clinical Operations and Strategy to lead complex clinical programs and drive operational strategy across multiple locations. You will partner with senior clinicians and cross-functional teams to design workflows, set KPIs, and scale initiatives from conception to execution.

The role requires 5+ years in healthcare consulting and 2+ years in operating roles within health tech, with a focus on data-driven decision-making and process improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of healthcare consulting at a leading firm focused on strategy, operations, or finance.
• 2+ years operating experience at a health tech or innovative healthcare services organization.
• Demonstrated excellence in project management and leadership skills.
• Experience working in high-performing, cross-functional teams.
• Ability to independently analyze complex data and derive actionable insights.
• Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Focus on bringing a Health Tech lens to clinical and business problems, leveraging analytic tools as available to improve operations. This means a fluency in using AI tools

Responsibilities

• Drive execution of projects, including program management and change management.
• Lead the definition and implementation of new clinical workflows and processes.
• Design and conduct experiments to optimize existing clinical operations.
• Develop and manage KPIs/SLAs to measure the performance of clinical operations.
• Identify opportunities for process and efficiency improvement.
• Work cross-functionally to effectively execute against our priorities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Provide insights to inform the strategic direction of the company: conduct market research, drive competitive analyses, and report findings to clinical leadership.
• Ensure the clinical team is well-prepared for internal and external presentations.
• Ensure the clinical team operates smoothly at all levels.
