Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer, Cloud Platform, to design and deliver secure, scalable cloud solutions that support data analytics and AI initiatives. You will drive platform modernization, governance, and developer experience across teams, empowering engineers with robust tooling and real-time observability.

You’ll collaborate with AI/ML data platforms, lead cross-functional initiatives, and influence architecture decisions in a fast-paced, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Advanced knowledge of containers/orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Expertise in DevEx and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Spinnaker, Bitbucket, GitHub).
• Strong cloud security practices and DevSecOps.
• Proficiency in Golang or Python and software engineering best practices.
• Experience with infra provisioning tools (Terraform/Crossplane).
• Experience with logging and monitoring tools (Splunk, Grafana, Datadog).
• Deep understanding of cloud architecture and migration strategies.
• Proficiency with AI-assisted coding workflows and LLM tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to the cloud engineering team.
• Lead design/development of secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and tools.
• Advance DevEx by improving CI/CD and developer tooling.
• Align platform roadmaps with business priorities; modernize SDLC.
• Evaluate/integrate strategic tooling to reduce cognitive load.
• Collaborate with teams to remove platform bottlenecks.
• Define self-service workflows to streamline developer processes.
• Implement telemetry pipelines for platform observability.
• Promote AI-assisted coding ecosystems and tooling.
• Contribute to AI agents and MCP integrations for automation.
