Job summary

KeyBank is seeking a Senior Lead Auditor within Internal Audit to lead risk-based reviews of complex programs and projects. The role focuses on governance, risk, and control effectiveness across transformations and regulatory programs, collaborating with business, technology, risk, compliance, and audit stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have strong audit and risk management capabilities, knowledge of data governance, cybersecurity concepts, and emerging technologies such as AI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of 3 years of audit, risk management, technology risk, project management, or related experience.
• Licenses and Certifications such as CPA, CIA, CISA, CSPO, CSM, PMP, CRISC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute all phases of project risk reviews, including planning, fieldwork, reporting, and issue validation.
• Conduct walkthroughs and testing to evaluate governance, risk management, and internal controls.
• Draft audit findings and executive summaries for senior management.
• Escalate significant concerns and monitor remediation efforts through completion.
